Utah's beaver populations have recovered since the days when they were trapped by mountain men. The Utah Division of Wildlife Resources has drafted a new management plan that outlines how beavers play a role in habitat restoration.

DWR > A "bullhog" grinds pinyon-juniper trees into mulch at the West Coal Creek area northeast of Price. Removing pinyon-juniper is among several things land managers and wildlife biologists are doing to improve wildlife habitat in the area.
